  • Known for two Chuck Lorre sitcoms MOM and Dharma & Greg.
  • Portrayed the veteran A.A. sponsor, ‘Marjorie’ for 8 seasons on MOM.
  • Dharma & Greg is currently available to stream on Hulu.
  • All 8 seasons of MOM are currently airing in syndication and available on multiple streaming services including: Paramount+, HULU, Amazon, and iTunes.
  • Television Career began with her starring in her own variety show “Three Girls Three” in 1977. The other two “unknowns” were Ellen Foley and Debbie Allen. 
  • Her first television appearance was on the game show “To Tell The Truth.” 
  • Her first professional stage role was starring opposite comedy legend Sid Caesar in “Last of the Red Hot Lovers.” Actress Doris Roberts was also in the cast and became a friend and mentor. 
  • Cast member of the original Broadway production of “Grease.”
  • Considered for a role as an original cast member of “Saturday Night Live.” Jane Curtain was selected by the network for being considered more middle America.
  • Toured with the National Lampoon Comedy Tour with Meatloaf, Ellen Foley, Larry Dilg and Jim Steinman. 
  • Starred opposite British comedy icon Peter Cook in the sitcom “The Two of Us.”
  • Inspired multiple songs by composer Jim Steinman including: “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad” and “Bad for Good.” Mimi also contributed lyrics to the Steinman/Meatloaf song “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth.”
  • Studied acting with Stella Adler.
  • Studied non-violence with Rev. James Lawson, whom Martin Luther King Jr. called “the teacher” for his educating activists during the 1960’s civil rights struggle.
  • Has been an active leader and board member of Progressive Democrats of America. 
  • Was part of a group of progressive democrat activists who encouraged Senator Bernie Sanders to run for the 2016 Democratic Presidential Nomination. 
  • She is a successful actress who balances marriage, motherhood and an acting career. She has been married  to Larry Dilg (musician & educator) for over 40 years. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
  • While attending Smith College she participated in the first computer dating experiment, Operation Match. Her perfect computer match was Amherst College student, Larry Dilg. The two would meet officially a few years later while Mimi was performing in Larry’s friend’s (Jim Steinman) theater production in NYC. The have been married since 1978.
  • Was a close friend and writing partner of Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein. 
  • Is not related to President John F. Kennedy. Her father, Gerry Kennedy and JFK looked into the connection. President Kennedy was then a young Congressman and Gerry, a lawyer  was working with Senator Ken Keating. 
  • Is related by marriage on her Father’s side to “Citizen Kane” Actress Ruth Warrick.
